Cameron Gibb is the Founder and Creative Director of Project Basis, a graphic design consultancy based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Project Basis is the studio name for designer Cameron Gibb. With over 30 years of experience in the design industry, both internationally and locally, Cameron has been collaborating with companies, designers, photographers and film makers to craft compelling and meaningful outcomes with a pragmatic, design-led approach, focussing on project goals, with a deep understanding of commercial realities. Design-led, but not style over substance.

Alongside designing for brands and combining his passion for book design, typography and photography, he has experience in the field of documentary film-making, most recently in the role of Director of Photography and Design for the Netflix series Live to Lead, made with Blackwell & Ruth in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation.

As well as appearing on international judging committees, he is the recipient of numerous awards for his design work including multiple Communication Arts awards, and several New Zealand Book Design Awards (PANZ), for which he has also served as convening judge.

Cameron lives and works in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, New Zealand.
